Unwinding the Rut

It was a fine Saturday morning. As I had slept yesterday with a thought to go on a solo drive to Kotilingeshwara temple (95km from Bangalore), I wasn't sure that I'll make it. I started to at least give myself a chance to find out my limits and not find an excuse of a perfect weather/company/time or reason to make it memorable.
While it was a beautiful drive accompanied with some soulful melodies, I took a coconut water break.
It took around 2 hrs to reach temple. I was amazed to see giant Nandi in front of Shiva linga. To add into this, there were lingam of different carvings, sizes at every step in the premises to make it into a count of koti (1 crore).
Darshan of shiva linga inside the main temple was so peaceful. There is Brahma- Vishnu-Mahesh temple also adorned by the divine symbols alongside of Venkateshwara & Devi temples. After a peaceful stroll, I bought a temple picture as a memoir.
And how could I forget to mention the amazing laddoos as Prasadam. Had a light lunch and started back with my dhanno. While I was happy to make it happen, I relished sugarcane juice and reached my home around 6pm.
Thank you Bhole baba to have me and once again feel stronger.
